Tell me about membership....

Membership is a spiritual, public commitment to worship, grow and serve at our particular Church.  We hope that you will get acquainted with our church and Jesus Christ.  

Although you are welcome to attend without obligation we encourage you to learn about us, the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA).  At Alliance Bible Church, we encourage a firm commitment to the local church. Christ was so committed to the church He gave His life for it, and then directed His apostles to establish local assemblies of believers everywhere.

The first step in becoming a member is attendance at our New Members Class. This is held several times per year and is an overview of the basic truths of Christianity and the unique ministries of our church. You then indicate your desire for membership by filling out an application for prospective membership.

The second step is to meet with our leadership (Elders) privately to give a personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as personal Savior.

The third step in becoming a member occurs at a worship service when we publicly extend the right hand of fellowship to those who have met the preceding requirements.

Membership is viewed as a covenant of commitment to God and His people in this local body of believers.
